Derek Willett, age 28, of Wellston, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 25th, 2021 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born December 31st, 1992 in Hillsboro, Ohio.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Willett of Oak Hill, Ohio; father, Gene Willett of Greenfield, Ohio; son, Andrew Lee Masters of Sandusky, Ohio; brother, Robert “Bobby” Willett of Greenfield, Ohio; sisters, Harley (Johnny) Harmon of Oak Hill, Ohio, Calianna (Jonathan) Edwards of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Marjorie Ann Willett of Greenfield, Ohio; nieces: Cheyenne Sandifer, Miley Edwards, and Brittany Edwards of Oak Hill, Ohio; nephews: William Sandifer of Oak Hill, Ohio and Zaiden Joseph Willett, Izaiah Willett, Rick Willett, and Anthony Willett all of Greenfield, Ohio; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Per CDC and governor guidelines, everyone is required to wear a mask while indoors and practice proper social distancing.
