Dennis James Mozingo, age 66, of Oak Hill, formerly of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at his home in Oak Hill. He was born Oct. 6, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Earl E. and Eva Marie (Clay) Mozingo.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Tina Oliver; children, Star (Jeff) Chadwell, of MI, Sylvia (Dave) McDaniels, of Toledo, Stephanie Mozingo, of Toledo, Trisha (Shawn) Canterbury, of Oak Hill and Raymond (Mandy) Oliver of Oak Hill. Also surviving are his brother, Earl (Linda) Mozingo, of AL; sisters, Shirley (Ted) Slaughterback, of Toledo, Brenda (Don) Coates, of Toledo, and Linda (Cork) Black, of Toledo; eight grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dennis loved to play cards, hunt deer, and fish, but he enjoyed his grandchildren most of all. His family and friends will miss him very much.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Carter, sister, Carolyn McCarter and best friend, Carl Gullett.
Private services will be held at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill, officiated by Cameron Casehan. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery.
