Delores Leach

Delores A. Leach, age 91, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Ayden Healthcare of Jackson. She was born September 16, 1930, in Dundas, Ohio, daughter of the late Otto Guy Salts and Mildred Ruff Salts. Delores retired from Hercules Trouser, also known as The Pants Factory, where she was employed for several years. In years past, Delores attended the Wellston Church of the Nazarene. She was an artist who enjoyed painting and taking painting classes. Delores also enjoyed sewing, not only for herself, but for others as well, and taking care of her flowers and house plants around her home.

She is survived by daughter, Sue Leach of Wellston; son, Larry Leach of Wellston; grandchildren: Shane Leach of Jackson and Amy Goode of Albany; great-grandchildren: Holden Leach and Lennox Leach; sister, Janice Spires of Ray; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. “Bob” Leach in 2006; and seven brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be Monday, May 23, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jim Griffith officiating.
