Deborah Dodrill

Deborah Rene Dodrill, age 62, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, May 19, at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus.  She was born May 9, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to Mickey Nelms and Edna Mae Sifford Nelms.  Debbie was a loving homemaker and was a jack of all trades.  She loved fishing and was also an avid gun owner and target shooter.  Debbie also enjoyed watching Animal Planet and Little People, Big World on T.V. and was a great cook.  Most of all, Debbie’s world revolved around her children and grandchildren, with whom she enjoyed spending lots of time with.  She was a member of Locust Grove Church in McArthur and the N.R.A.

Debbie is survived by her mother and step-father, Edna Sifford Nelms and Rich Johnson; children, Kala Dodrill of McArthur and Tyler Dodrill (Frankie Milliken) of McArthur; grandchildren, Ashton Fisher, Sophia Leaming, Jace Milliken, Maclin Dodrill and Renex Dodrill; fiancé, Frank Cantrell; siblings, Carol Sims (Dean), Sheila Benson (Steve), Robert Sifford (Debbie), Regina Hill, Mickie Pratt (Randy Mace) and Rebecca Emmert; aunt, Gaye Corwin; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Mickey Nelms; her son, Gary Nathaniel “Little Gary” Harris; and her sister, Tammy Sifford. 

Calling hours will be Saturday, May 22, from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Sunday, May 23, at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Rev.
