David L. Durham, age 74, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Jackson County on Nov. 2, 1945 to the late Ora and Geneva (Carter) Durham. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Martha “Gail” Durham; sons: Mark and John Durham; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; along with three brothers, five sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
David really enjoyed working on cars, watching TV and tending to his rose bushes.
Funeral services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m., with Bill Taylor as celebrant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, from 2 to 4 p.m.
