Darla M. Hendrix, age 50 of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016. She was born on December 16, 1965 in Piketon, Ohio to Velda (Euton) Jordan and the late Otis Hendrix. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by brothers: Joseph Edward Hendrix of Milford, Indiana,Andy Hendrix of Nappanee, Indiana, Randall Hendrix of Etna Green, Indiana; half-brother, Ricky Henson of Beaver, Ohio; sister, Rita Doss of Bainbridge, Ohio; many nieces and nephews and her very best friend, Tris Beesley.
Darla was a loving daughter and sister, always happy and smiling. Helping others was always on her mind. Singing and music was a big part of who she was and she always had a song in her heart.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home, 135 Broadway St., Jackson, Ohio with Bill Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Euton Family Cemetery in Scioto County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
