Connie Lou Bush, 71, of Wellston, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on May 21, 1946 in Wellston, daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Maxine (McNellis) Brown. Connie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She enjoyed cooking, but most of all she enjoyed visiting with her family, sisters, and grandkids. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, George Bush, Jr. (Janel); step-daughter, Kristina Martin (Ron); grandchildren: Brandyn Bush, Graci Bush, Payslie Bush, and Jessica Bush; brothers, Larry (Linda) Brown, Timmy Brown, Alvis (Debbie) Brown, Anthony (Sally) Brown, and Gary (Debbie) Brown; sisters, Joyce Brown, Kathy (Mike) Dye, and Judy Rupert; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, George Bush, Sr. (Dec.1999); brothers, James Franklin, Ernie, Michael, Delmas, Joe, Tommy, and Bob; sisters, Sharon Brown, Izzy Brown, and Tillie Clark.
The family will receive friends at R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 West Broadway Street, Wellston on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. where are funeral service celebrating Connie’s life will follow commencing at 1 p.m. Pastor Jamie Hanning officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston.
