Clifford Causey, age 72, of Ray, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born July 30, 1941 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Henry and Draxie (Robinson) Causey.
He is survived by a son, Brandon Causey of Jackson, Ohio; daughters, Brenda Barnhart of Jackson, Ohio and Patty Kinker of Waverly, Ohio; grandsons, Cody and Kyle Kinker and Matthew Barnhart; and special great-nieces and a great-nephew who knew him as “Grandpa”: Anitra, Alana, Brianna, Aaron, and Allison Causey; as well as numerous other friends and family members.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet M. (Jones) Causey whom he married on May 7, 1973; and grandchildren, Byron and Sarah Kinker.
Friends and family may call at the Promised Land Church on Pattonsville Road in Jackson, Ohio on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roger Parks officiating. The final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
