Clarence William Wireman, also known as “Wild Bill” and “Dingo,” age 77, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home. He was born June 24, 1940 in Pettus, West Virginia to the late Clarence Raymond Wireman and Margerette Louise Morris Wireman.
Bill was a graduate of Wellston High School and a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. He was a former truck driver for various trucking companies in the area and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 8402 in Jackson.
Bill, who was well known for his yodeling, loved music, playing the guitar and singing. He enjoyed running his dogs, shooting his guns and talking to his favorite people.
Bill is survived by his children, William Allen Eugene Wireman (Devon Vincent) of Winchester, and Margarette Teresa Jean Wireman of Wellston; grandchildren, Seth Allen Hamilton, Weston Daniel Wireman, Lexa Nicole Wireman, Ethan Paul Allen Nalls and Jada Lynn McKenzie Taynor; sisters, Pamela Goulden of Oklahoma, and Letitia Stidham, Melissa Wireman, Isabel Fannon and Autumn Riffle, all of Dayton, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Sheridan Wireman, Patricia Shope, Earl Eugene Wireman, Teresa Rae Carnes, Sandy McGee and Joel Wireman.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, his body was cremated. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
