Clarabelle “Tootie” (Stewart) Trepanier

Clarabelle “Tootie” (Stewart) Trepanier, age 80, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born February 25, 1934 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Carleton and Cora (Hughes) Stewart.

She attended school in Jackson and was a 1952 graduate of Jackson High School. She was an employee of A.L. Terry Jeweler’s for nine years after that and was active in the operation of A&A Truck Stop along with her husband, Fred and their family until retiring in September of 2005.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Fred; children, Sally (Dan) Case, Steve (Tami) Trepanier, and Molly (Mike) Evans all of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren, Derek Childers, Daniel Case, Jenna and Steven Trepanier, and Jarett and Reid Evans; sisters, Bonnie Moore of Logan, Ohio, Ruby Evans of Jackson, Ohio, and Barbara (Sam) Turck of Jackson, Ohio; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tom and Jeanne Castello of New Jersey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Rev. James Stewart.

Per her request, no calling hours will be observed. Private family services will be held Saturday, October 11, with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis and Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio.
