Christopher A. Horton, age 26, of Jackson passed away Friday, Sept. 3, at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born January 7, 1995, in Gallipolis, Ohio to Jennifer and Chris Crowder. Christopher enjoyed spending time with his sisters, and his favorite past time was going fishing with his oldest son, Bentley.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sisters: Katie and Cheyanne Crowder; 3 sons: Bentley, Bryson and Jayden; his nan and papaw: Barb and Jason Landrum; special friend: Matt Fisher; aunt: Allisha Russell; as well as several other aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his aunt: Jamie Russell; great-grandparents: Alice and Ted Staten; and grandfather: Keith Horton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Adkins officiating and burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12 p.m. up to the time of the funeral at 2 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home.
