Charles S. Arthurs, age 85, passed from this life to eternal life on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Charlie (as he was known to many) is survived by his wife of 64 years, Minnie (Rosie) Arthurs of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Diana Wood of Jackson, Ohio; son, Randy (Beth) Arthur of Jackson, Ohio; niece Virgie (Tom) Reynolds of Circleville, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters: Ann Woods and Betty Reese, both of Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.
Charlie loved to attend yard sales, auctions and flea markets. He loved buying, selling and trading items with people. He was always willing to help someone in need with money or items he found at an auction. Charlie loved his family, especially his great-grandchildren. He loved attending any of their ballgames and cheering them on. He also loved his God and read his Bible every morning until he lost his eyesight. His family will miss him but knows that his death was simply walking through the door from this life to eternal life.
