Charles Allen Camink

Charles Allen Camink, age 79, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born July 18, 1934 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Charles and Eulalia Ervin Camink. Charles was a 1952 graduate of Wellston High School. He was a former employee of Frick-Gallagher Manufacturing in Wellston for 44-1/2 years and he was an avid farmer.

Charles was a loving husband for 56 years to his wife, Gretta Thacker Camink; a wonderful dad to his four sons, Randy, Chris, Brian and Tony, all of Wellston; papaw to his grandchildren, Christopher Camink and Summer Camink, both of Wellston and Jillian Camink of Louisville, Ky., and great-grandchildren, Destiny and Gage McDaniel and Melina McFadden.

Also surviving is his sister, Charlene Bowers of Columbus, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Elmo Rollins and his sister, Lila Patrick.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Daniel officiating.
