Charlene S. Allen, age 80, of Jackson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 5 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born June 11, 1941, in Christiansburg, Ohio to the late Robert and Betty Stone.
She is now reunited with the love of her life, Russell Allen, whom she married June 17, 1960. Russell preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are two grandchildren; one great grandson; a sister; a brother; and her parents.
Surviving are children: Robert (Donna) Allen, Rebecca (Ronnie) Hargett, Pamela Allen (Jimmy Donahue), all of Jackson and Timothy Allen, of Danville, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; one brother, Michael (Becky) Stone, of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters-in-law: Kathy Allen of Jackson and Georgianna Burton of Oak Hill, Ohio. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Charlene attended Bethesda Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, where they quickly became her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always making sure they knew she loved them. She started each morning with her Bible and Jesus. She will be missed by many.
