Catherine L. Kisor, age 95, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Edgewood Manor in Wellston. She was born June 6, 1924 in Wellston, Ohio to Earl C. Fair and Elsie Davis Fair.
Catherine was a 1942 graduate of Wellston High School. In her earlier years, Catherine was employed at the E.E. Chambers Co. in Wellston. Following the birth of her last daughter, she became a loving homemaker, wife and mother.
Catherine loved to read and spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, who were #1 in her life. Catherine was one of the oldest and faithful members of The First Baptist Church in Wellston.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Raymer of Wellston, Melody Clark (John) of Jackson, and Melissa Kisor Royster of Columbus; grandchildren, Robert Williams of Wellston, Kevyn West of Wellston and Ezekiel Royster (Christina) of Westerville; great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Joshua Williams; cousin, Marilyn Stanislaw of Troy; along with several nieces, nephews and friends, including special nephews, Terry Fout (Kathie) of Shallotte, NC and Steve Fout (Beth) of Columbus.
Besides her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Kisor in 2000; and her aunts, Edith Henneman and Geneva Duke.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Kelly officiating.
