Carolyn J. Gray, 74, of Wellston, passed away on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on July 4, 1945, in Wilkesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and Eileen (Duffy) Cray. Carolyn was a very kind and generous lady who loved her dogs, enjoyed watching her favorite T.V. show, N.C.I.S., and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Gray; sons, Kevin (Pam) Burns and Todd (Beth) Burns; 10 grandchildren: Brian (Alex), Dustin (Kayla), Willow, Eric, Jennifer, Destanee, Lakyn, Chianna, Jaxson, and Malaki; six great-grandchildren: Zoey, Kayden, Alyiah, Kendrick, Parker, and Ava; a brother, Larry (Connie) Cray; a sister, Judy (Keith) Molihan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by a son, Rick Burns; and a brother, Jim Cray.

A funeral service celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 at 11 a.m., in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, with Pastor Ann Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in Carolyn’s name be made to the Jackson County Humane Society or a local food pantry of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
