Carl Dwight Lopp, age 75, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 at the Vineyards at Concord in Frankfort. He was born on Oct.18, 1942 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Carl Lopp and Mary Parks Lopp.
Carl was intelligent, liked family gatherings, enjoyed eating and had a very keen sense of humor. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. He retired from the City of Jackson in 1994.
Carl is survived by cousins: Karen (Earl) Neal, Barbara (Jay) Caldwell, Regina (Jeff) Conroy and Josh Jenkins; uncle, Roger (Bonnie) Jenkins; and special caring cousin, Buck (Ann) Sheward.
Funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. with Buck Sheward acting as emcee. Burial will follow at Mountain Ridge Cemetery. Friends will be received from noon up until the time of funeral service at the funeral home.
