Cameron “Duane” Boswell

Cameron “Duane” Boswell, age 81, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center. Duane was born November 25, 1932 the son of John and Ruth Boswell. He married Thelma Folden in October of 1952 and they were married for 62 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Southern Silica Sand.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma (Folden) Boswell of Jackson, Ohio; daughters, Ruth Davis (Dave Saunders), Osa Boswell, and Camie (Otto) Bar of Jackson, Ohio; Lavon Faris (Jim Parker) of McArthur, Ohio; and son, Duane (Rhonda) Boswell of Jackson, Ohio; a sister, Barb Delaney of Columbus, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren; as well as special friend, Lisa Hull.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edward Boswell; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A funeral service will be held at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Coalton, Ohio.
