By | March 21, 2014

Caitlin Rosabel Sherman, of Jackson, passed away and ascended to Heaven to be with the Lord Thursday, March 20, 2014. She is the beloved infant daughter of Bradford and Melanie Sherman.

She is survived by her parents; grandparents, Phillip and Mabel Denney, of Jackson, and Hobart Roger and Rose Sherman, of Oak Hill; aunts, Tara Lawson and Scarlett Denney, both of Jackson; an uncle, Brandon Lawson, of Jackson; as well as numerous great-aunts and -uncles.

Although her time in this world was short, her impact on the lives of those who knew her will be felt forever. Her mommy and daddy fell in love with her from the moment they first heard her precious little heart beating. Her grandparents swelled up with pride and joy every time they spoke about her. Her aunts and uncles jumped to the front of the line to help prepare for the arrival of the little girl who would be called “Caitie Bel.”

The family takes solace in knowing some day, they will be with their precious little girl again in Heaven. Until that day, those who knew and loved her will carry Caitie Bel’s spirit with them forever, and treasure the memories and joy she gave us.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home of Jackson. Calling hours for family and friends will be observed from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2014.
