Bonnie Florence Lenegar Nichols

Bonnie Florence Lenegar Nichols, 82, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 28, 1931 in Wellston, where she grew up, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Smith Lenegar.

Bonnie met and married Earl Rodger Nichols and they started their family in McArthur, Ohio, where they owned and operated Nichols Carry-Out and Pizza for 53 years. They touched many lives and families in the community. Their love gave them 11 children.

She is survived by her children, Earl Edward (the late Norma Graves) Nichols, Ricky L. (Rhonda Fout) Nichols, Randall S. (Suze Bates) Nichols, Eric L. (Penny Sheline) Nichols, Timothy S. (Rose Bethel) Nichols, Julia A. (Jeff) Bolen, Christina B. (Paul) Creech, Jason H. Nichols, Jerame K. Nichols and Joshua D. (Kim Fee) Nichols; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Spellacy of Circleville and Gladys Cardwell of Wellston; and one brother, Vic Lenegar of Wellston.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; loving husband of 44 years, Earl Rodger Nichols; son, Rodger K. Nichols; granddaughter, Ginger Ranea Nichols; and step-great-granddaughter, Sierra Danner.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Phil DeMint officiating. Interment will be in Hamden Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 2 to 8 p.m.
