Bobby Myers

Bobby Myers, age 68, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. 

He was born July 25, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Wilbur Lee “Whitey” Myers, Dorothy Campbell Myers and Helen Hudson Myers.  Bobby graduated from Wellston High School in the class of 1972.  He was a former employee of J-Vac Industries and a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellston. 

Bobby enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, and working word search puzzles; but most of all, he enjoyed reading his Bible and witnessing to others about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Bobby is survived by his brothers and sisters:  John Dupree (Maxine) of Fairborn, Danny Hudson (Shirley) of Troy, Diane Bowling of Wellston, Jean Corvin (Rich) of Gallipolis, and Sylvia Swaney of Wellston; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Besides his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by brother, Joe Dupree; and sisters, Lula Lee Jennings and Lynn Murray. 

Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Graveside service will immediately follow the calling hours at Ridgewood Cemetery with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating.  For those choosing to attend the services, facial coverings are required inside the building along with the practice of social distancing.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
