Bob N. McCoy

Bob N. McCoy, age 77, of Oak Hill, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born June 17, 1942 in Oak Hill to the late Willard and Katherine (McFann) McCoy. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy (Davis) McCoy, of Oak Hill; siblings, Susie (Terry) Hicks, Kenny (Shawnna) McCoy, Sheliah (Bob) Haislop, Janice (Steven) Aryee, Leisa (Rodney) Gowen, Larry (Cheryl) McCoy and Melissa (Shon) Marchio; and in-laws, Shirley Whitt, Karen (Dan) Dobbins and Dan Davis.  Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald McCoy; and sister, Linda Vititoe. 

Bob graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1962, and he then went on to fight in Vietnam.  He was a member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church and retired from Meridian in Jackson. 

Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastors Tim Moore and Dave Steiger officiating.  Burial will follow in C.
