Beulah Park, age 91, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center, Jackson, Ohio. She was born February 11, 1922 in Beefhide, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas P. and Magdalene Mullins; husbands, Ballard M. Tackett and Alvin Park; four brothers, Arthur, Russell, Brady and Junior Mullins; and three sisters, Esta Tackett, Itly Mullins and Lenora Mullins.
She is survived by one son, Thomas S. Tackett of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Erma Jo Tackett, Ivy Crabtree and Sonja Simpson, all of Jackson; one brother, Arnold Mullins of Shelby Gap, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Thursday, April 18 from 4 to 8 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckeye Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jackson County Board of DD (Special Olympics Fund), 822 Sellers Drive, Jackson, OH 45640.
