Betty June Michael, age 85, of Jackson, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at Jenkins Memorial Health Facility. She was born June 16, 1927 in Jackson Ohio to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Aldridge) Stiffler.
She is survived by sons, Larry (Teresa) Michael, Thomas (Joan) Michael, Joseph (Erin) Michael and Patrick Michael; grandchildren, Eric (Megan) Michael, Heidi (James) Plavecsky, Sean (Heather) Michael, Meeka (Kevin) Mohler, Nicholas Michael, Hannah Michael, Madeline Michael and Christopher Michael; great-grandchildren, Cormac and Gwynneth Michael, Alexander Slagle, Riley Michael, Jasmyne and Isabella Mohler; sister, Mary Gibson and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mose Michael; and siblings, Thomas Peter Stiffler, Dale Stiffler, Eugene (Enid) Stiffler, Naomi Ruth Duncan and Franklin Albert Stiffler.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jackson with Father John Joseph Trapp officiating and burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home (formerly Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home) in Jackson, Ohio.
