Barbara Ann McManaway, 77, of Glouster, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born July 24, 1936 in Millfield, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mae Knight Sisson. She retired from Ohio University.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim (Danny) Ortman of Wellston and Sherry Doles of Glouster; two step daughters, Brenda (Kent) Kerr of Columbus and Kathy (Randy) Houston of Newark; one step son, Leonard “Bud” (Cindy) McManaway of Newark; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Patty Rodgers of Glouster; one sister-in-law, Mildred McManaway; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard H. McManaway; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday October 8, 2013 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, 6525 S. State Route 78, Glouster, Ohio 45732 with John Wright officiating.
