Avery Goble, age 56, of Destrehan, Louisiana and formerly of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, Louisiana. He was born August 4, 1959 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Wilford and Marjorie (Curtis) Goble.
Avery was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a truck driver/dispatcher.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Veronica (Randy) Schworm, Jennifer (Jason) Voss, Stefanie (Dan) Lawless, Kristi (Ron) Oxley, and Brandi Goble; his partner of 12 years, Elizabeth Sayles; brother, Skip (Donna) Goble; nephew, Matthew Goble; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Aiden; brother, Steve; and grandparents, Bill and Sammi Goble.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Trinity Chapel, 14545 OH-93, Jackson, OH 45640. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Betty Libby officiating. Burial will follow at Goble Family Cemetery, Messing Road, Jackson, OH 45640.
