Aubrey G. (JR) Miller, 78, of Logan, Ohio passed away March 12, 2013 at Grant Medical Center Columbus, Ohio.

Aubrey was born January 19, 1935 in Jackson, to Aubrey G. and Velva Miller. He was a 1952 Logan High School graduate; retired as a school bus driver; also worked at Logan Clay, and drove a truck for Gaffney Freight; was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church; lifetime member of Hocking County Historical Society; 20 year volunteer at Hocking Valley Community Hospital; and one of the many co founders of the former Marion Township Community Center; and was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Browns fan.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years Georgia Miller of Logan; sons, Bill (Becky) Miller of Kettering, Doug (Lora) Miller of Rushville, and Barry Miller of Logan; grandchildren, Tonya (Heath) Mundy of Logan, Scott (Andi) Miller of Logan, Shawn (Lewis) Whitmore of Logan, and David Miller of Kettering; great-grandchildren, Blaine, Olivia, and Mason Miller of Logan, Carter, Gage, and Aubrey Mundy of Logan; step-great grandchildren, Lewis and Jamie Whitmore of Logan; brother Dwight and Mary Scott of Logan; sister Georgeana Burns of Logan; and his dog Brutus.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio with Rev. Ron Cox officiating. Burial will be Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge. Military services will be held by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Calling hours will be observed Friday, March 15, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
