Andrew Sutton French

Andrew Sutton French, 33, of Wellston, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was born on October 10, 1982, son of the late Ronnie French and Nancy (Roy) French, who survives.

Andrew attended the Ohio School for the deaf, was a 2002 graduate of Wellston High School and a 2004 graduate of Hocking College, where he studied heavy equipment operations. An avid outdoorsmen and “country boy,” Andy enjoyed racing, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding side-by-sides. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his loving family: mother, Nancy; brothers, Ronnie French and Robert (Tonya) Lorenzen; sisters, Shirley (Floyd) Westfall, Cheryl Jenkins, and Trixy French; special friends, Michelle Hardesty and Brian Conwell; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his father, Andrew was preceded in death by two nephews: Steven and William Clarkson; and his brother-in-law, Doug Jenkins.

A funeral service celebrating Andrew’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, with Reverend Don Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery, Oak Hill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m.
