Alma F. Ray, age 95, of Wellston, passed away at her home Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012. She was born April 17, 1917, in Scioto County to the late Delford and Shirley Seeley Post.
Alma was married Nov. 9, 1935 to Roy E. Ray who preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by a son, Donald, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by children, Brenda Corvin, Darlene (Jack) Parks, of Wellston, Patricia (John) Smith of Londonderry, James (Pauline) of Coalton, Richard (Janet) of Georgetown, Kentucky; 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 43 great-great-grandchildren, and one sister.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Friday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Don Kincaid and Rev. Richard Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Coalton, Ohio.
