William Edward “Leroy” Leach Jr., age 65 of Jackson, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center of Gallipolis. He was born on June 27, 1952 to the late William E. Leach and Phyllis E. (Eubanks) Leach. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He enjoyed drag racing at KD Dragway in South Webster and riding all off-road vehicles. William was employed by Carmen’s Used Cars and Pillsbury.
He is survived by brothers, John (Carol) Morris and Jim (Rheeta) Leach; sisters, Georgian (Golan) Mapes, Patty (Roy) Dawson, Vicki Sturgill and Penny (Michael) Crusan; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at “Real Friends” Cemetery in Jackson at noon on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 with Golan Mapes officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home and Southern Ohio Cremation Services in Jackson.
