Wesley S. Hershberger

Wesley S. Hershberger, 56, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Friday morning very suddenly of a heart attack Sept. 22, 2017 at his home. He was born in Holmes County, Ohio Jan. 29, 1961 to Simon S. and Ada S. (Yoder) Hershberger. He was married to Verba J. Yoder, and she survives. He was a member of the old order Amish Church.

Surviving are his wife Verba; 12 children: Paul (Melissa) Hershberger of Scottown, Ohio, John (Sevilla) Hershberger of Oak Hill, Simon (Dora) Hershberger of Gallia Co., Anna Hershberger of Huntington, West Virginia, Andy (Rebecca) Hershberger of the home, Samuel (Mary) Hershberger of Oak Hill, Jacob (Catherine) Hershberger of Oak Hill, Elizabeth (Owen) Mast of Oak Hill, Miriam (Jr.) Byler of Carrolton, Ohio, Daniel (Edna) Hershberger of Oak Hill, Katie (Eli) Weaver of Oak Hill, Wesley of the home; and 44 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada S. Hershberger and a daughter, Ruth.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Roy Brenneman officiating and burial at Yoder Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23 and 24, 2017 from 2 to 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
