Thelma D. Post, age 71, of Ray, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at the Adena Regional Medical Center ER in Chillicothe, Oho. She was born January 26, 1943 in Jackson County to the late Homer and Dorothy Tennant Hill.
Thelma was a 1961 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a former employee of Jackson-Vinton Community Action for 15 years and she enjoyed cooking and camping.
Thelma is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry T. Post; children, Teresa Gillespie (John) of Jackson, Jerry Post (Kelly) of Jackson and Jeff Post (Stacie) of Zanesville; grandchildren, Christy Blackford (Jon), Lisa Gillespie (Greg Justice) Mikayla Post, Kelsey Post (Jared Durst), Kegan Post and Maekayla Post, and great-grandchildren, Madison and Carson Blackford.
Besides her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rita Lucille Post, and her sister, Shirley Osborne.
