Steven Edward Durham, age 62, of Jackson, Ohio, died at home on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019. Steve was born on June 6, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Eugene and Ruby Durham of Jackson, Ohio.
Steve was employed by John Duncan and Austin Powder. He also provided a home for numerous foster kids through Sojourner’s Foster Care Agency for over 20 years.
Steve is survived by his wife, Tamela Jo Durham; five brothers and three sisters; his children, Steven Durham, Jr. of Jackson, Eugenia Durham of Jackson, and Jason (Karen) Durham of Minford; grandchildren, Tamera Durham, Jacob (Nikki) Culwell, Katelynn Durham, Faith Culwell, Landen Durham, and Lilly Durham; and great-grandchildren, Arianna Crislip, Maicee Culwell, and Mariah Culwell.
A visitation for friends and family of Steve will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 at Cox-Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver. A graveside service will be held following the visitation hours.
