Shirley Jane Amand

Shirley Jane Amand, age 80, of Canal Winchester, died June 30, 2017 at Mount Carmel East. Born Sept. 13, 1936 to the late Roy and Elizabeth Tomlinson. She was a 1954 Wellston High School graduate and was on the 1952 Jackson County Apple Festival Queens Court.

Shirley helped her husband manage Trimble’s Jewelry and belonged to First Baptist Church, both in Jackson, Ohio. In recent years, she regularly attended Brice United Methodist Church. She retired from National City Bank after 24 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Trimble and second husband, Marvin Amand. Shirley is survived by her sons, Marc Trimble and Derek Trimble; daughter, Erin (Norman Ragland) Trimble; grandchildren, Shannon, Jarrod, Colin, Grant, Loren and Jordan; and many dear friends.

Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Ridgewood Cemetery, 203 E. Broadway St., Wellston, Ohio 45692.
