Sherry Lynn (Caldwell) McDaniel, age 55, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 18, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born Jan. 23, 1963 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Earl Caldwell, Sr., and Eleanor (McKinnis) Caldwell, who survives.
She is survived by her best friends – her husband Ricky Dale McDaniel and her mother Eleanor Caldwell; sons, Anthony “Andy” (Jori) Brown and Zachary Brown; step-son, Shaune McDaniel; grandchildren, Braiden Brown and Hunter Brown; step-grandchildren: Isabell McDaniel, Shaune McDaniel and Marrisa McDaniel; sisters, Elizabeth (Paul) Reynolds and Joyce Reynolds; brothers: Earl (Sheila) Caldwell Jr., Carl Caldwell and Tony (Veronica) Caldwell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sherry loved her family – especially her husband, mother and grandchildren; was very out-going; loved the ocean; and enjoyed crafts, flowers and gardening.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019 with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home.
