Sandra C. Massie, age 69, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born in Lawrence County, Ohio on May 12, 1947 to the late Ernest and Verna (Saunders) Jarvis. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers and sisters: Tony Jarvis, Rita Denney, Timothy Jarvis, Twila McMeans and Isacc Jarvis.
Sandra is survived by her children: Gregory (Sandy) Massie, Jason (Michelle) Massie, Anthony (Karen Voelker) Massie and Kimberly (Bradly) Hopper, along with nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers and sisters: Tammy Jarvis, Kevin Jarvis, Tina Rouch, Patty Stricland, Blanche Evans, Earnest Jarvis and Mona Patterson.
Sandra was a member of the Pyro Church. She loved her pets, and enjoyed reading and walking.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson. Graveside services will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery on Saturday, December 3, at 10 a.m. Condolences may be sent to www.mayhew-brownfuneralhome.com
