Ronald Marshall Burton was born on Sept. 21, 1953 to the late Harry Olen Burton and Peggy Ann (Vincent) Burton. He passed peacefully in Xenia, Ohio on March 30, 2019 at the age of 65.
Ron is survived by his three children: Natalie Burton (Gallipolis, OH), Brian Burton (Findlay, OH), and Olivia Burton (Brookeville, OH); his brother, Olen Vincent Burton of Columbus, OH and his sister-in-law, Jan Burton; and his nephew, Arron Burton and wife, Jenny Burton.
He graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1971. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Morehead University in 1975. After college, he worked in Gallipolis, OH at Robbins & Myers and most recently was at UQM in Colorado until retirement.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Homes. Stan Howard will officiate the ceremony starting at 6 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ron’s life.
