Robert M. “Bob” Frazee

Robert M. “Bob” Frazee, age 95, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at his home. He was born Sept. 24, 1923 in Hamden, Ohio, the son of the late Bryan E. Frazee and Edna M. Potts Frazee.

A well-known and widely respected businessman, Bob was the former owner and operator of Frazee’s Royal Blue Supermarket in Wellston for 21 years and Rich Auto Sales in Wellston for over 50 years. Bob had a great love for horses. In his earlier years, he frequented many horse shows and won several awards for his showmanship. Throughout his life, Bob also enjoyed traveling.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army who served during WW II. For his service to his country, Bob was awarded a bronze medal. He was a member of the American Legion Post 371 of Wellston and the VFW Post 9092 in Wellston.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betty J. Frazee; daughter, Pamela M. Jackson of Columbus; grandson, Bryon R. Grenier of Columbus; granddaughter, Cody D. Hughes of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Trey Grenier, Alexis Hughes and Kaelyn Hughes; step-sons, Bret Harrison and Randy Harrison, both of Gallipolis; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Harrison and Eric Harrison; step great-grandchildren, McKenna Harrison and Daxtyn Ramey; sister-in-law, Emily Frazee of Florida, and nieces, Rita Wilkinson and Ruth Ann Ward, both of Florida.

Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Delbert Frazee.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Jadrnicek officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
