Reba B. (Molihan) Parks

Reba B. (Molihan) Parks, was born Aug. 7, 1948, to the late Nolan Molihan and Anna Crabtree. She was a graduate of Jackson High School, Class of 1966. Reba retired from the Ross County Human Services, Chillicothe, Ohio.

 Reba went home on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

Reba enjoyed watching the Ironladies softball as well as the Wellston Golden Rocket football, she never missed a game. She loved her grandkids and great-granddaughter.

 She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Loren (Butch) Parks of Wellston and two daughters, Angela (David) Dunn of Wellston and Lorenda Parks-Oberholzer of Jackson; her four grandchildren, Jami Oberholzer and Jensen Oberholzer, both of Jackson, Emileigh Dunn and Evan Dunn, both of Wellston and one great-granddaughter, Hadley Scarberry of Jackson.

 She is also survived by Nancy Bryant, Clintwood, Va., Patricia Sharp, of Oak Hill, Sherri  (Robert) Mollett of Oak Hill and Diane (Ron) Kearns of Jackson, Ora (Betsy) Crabtree of Oak Hill,  Robert (Freda) Molihan of Jackson, Thomas Crabtree of Jackson, several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

 Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan Molihan and Anna Crabtree (step-father, Ora Crabtree), also two brothers David Molihan and Nolan Molihan.

 The family would like to thank those who have helped with Reba’s care while at home.

 A funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jorge Anido officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
