Phyllis June Evans, age 80, passed away Wednesday September 13, 2017 at her residence in Jackson. She was born in Prichard, West Virginia on August 28, 1937 to George and Ethel Miracle.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husband, William D. Evans, sons: Michael D. Evans and Dale K. Evans; brothers: Virgil R. Miracle, James R. Miracle, South Swann, Wayne Swann, Tom Swann, James Swann, Charles Swann and Pete Swann; sister, Dorothy Beckley; and one great-grandchild, Gabby.
Phyllis is survived by son, George Evans; sister, Goldie Mooney; grandchildren: Jason and Wanda Evans, Monica Evans and Shannon Crank, Michael and Whitney Evans, Brandon Evans, Kristen Evans and Kaylee Evans and Desiree Nutt; great grandchildren: Victoria Davis, Sloan Evans, Gunner Evans, Neveah Evans, Bralyanna Evans, Josiah and Jayden and daughter-in-law, Kelly Evans.
Friends will be received on Saturday September 16, 2017 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Service at 2:00 p.m. with Stan Howard and Herman Stewart officiating. Burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
