Mildred Ann Hall

Mildred Ann Hall, age 85, of Wellston, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born Jan. 27, 1932 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Andrew Jackson Hamilton and Octavia Keathley Hamilton.

Mildred was a loving wife, mother and homemaker, who was a former certified preschool teacher with the Jackson County Head Start Program, where she taught the handicapped and deaf children for several years. She was a volunteer for the Jackson Ministerial Association for many years and a faithful member of the Pentecostal Holiness House of Prayer, where in the past, she served as church clerk, secretary and treasurer. Mildred made beautiful quilts, enjoyed gardening and working word search puzzles, loved attending Bible studies, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Randolph Hall (Leda) of Wellston, Charles Hall (Wanda) of Reno, Oh., Debra Barron (William) of New Matamoras, Oh., John Hall (Erica) of McArthur, Anna Smith (Rick) of Ray, Susie Brown (Rick) of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Ned Hall, Jr. (Jenny) of McArthur; brothers, Roy Hamilton (Judy) of Pikeville, Ky., and Ralph Hamilton (Betty) of Pikeville, Ky.; along with 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and several step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her first husband, Ned Hall, Sr.; second husband, Granville Hall; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pentecostal Holiness House of Prayer in Wellston with Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamden Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
