Michael Eugene “Mike” Miller

Michael Eugene “Mike” Miller, age 52, of Wellston, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

He was born Dec. 25, 1966, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Glenn E. Miller and Ruby Mae McKenzie Miller.  Mike was a true outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers and camping.  He also enjoyed playing his guitar.  Mike was a self-employed timber cutter who spent his life working in the woods logging. 

He is survived by his wife, Trish Frisby; sons, Jeremy Miller of Wellston and Marcus Fout (Jordan) of Londonderry; daughter, Kayla Smith (Dusten) of Wellston; brothers, Wayne Miller (Brenda) of Wellston, Kendall Miller (Lanell) of Jackson and Greg Miller (Mona) of Wellston; sister-in-law, Tammy Miller of Oak Hill; along with nine grandchildren and many extended family and friends. 

Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Miller in 2016. 

Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Lung officiating.  Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
