Mary F. Floyd, age 92, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Facility in Wellston. She was born April 8, 1926 in Crum, West Virginia to the late Lazarus Lace Salmons and Nancy Jane Mills Salmons.
Mary was a graduate of Wayne High School in Wayne, West Virginia, where she was the class Salutatorian. She went on to further her education by earning a degree from Huntington Business College. Mary was a former secretary/administrative assistant with SUCO in West Virginia. She was a very delightful and witty person, who loved making others laugh. One of her favorite enjoyments was that she loved shopping on QVC.
Mary will be remembered by her loved ones with great love and affection.
She is survived by her sister, Opal Kistler of Lancaster; close and faithful friend, Roy Bartlett of Wellston; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Floyd; five brothers and three sisters.
