Martha Louise Hafer, 90, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away at her residence Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. She was born March 8, 1922 in Jackson Township. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Mary Martin, husband Carl, son Eugene, daughter Cathy Anido, and infant son Joseph.
Two sons, Frank Hafer of Jackson and Mike Hafer of Georgia, survive her. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Louise was a retired cook for the Jackson City Schools, a member of the Savageville Church, 4-H leader and a youth leader in the church.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Thursday, Feb. 21, from 4 – 8 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Limerick Cemetery.
