Marla Sue Davis was born on Sept. 24, 1954, the loving daughter of the late Dale and Freda Davis. She passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 and is now in the hands of the Lord.
Marla is survived by her brother, Robert (Jacki) Davis of Marion, Ohio and her aunt, Juanita Conley of Portsmouth, Ohio. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends who loved her for just being Marla.
Marla was a beloved member of the Jackson community, attending Hope Haven and JVAC, making a host of friends and participating in activities like bowling and Special Olympics. Marla was known for her love of country music, westerns, jewelry, pets, Pepsi, cherry popsicles, and her wit.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Graveside services will follow at 3:15 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
