Marilyn L. “Nan” Cisco

Marilyn L. “Nan” Cisco, 75, of Oak Hill, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 21, 2016.

Nan was born on Dec. 27, 1940 in Wakefield, Ohio to the late John Bailey and Opal (Leonard) Williams. Marilyn was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church in Oak Hill. Marilyn, known as “Nan” to friends and family in the community, has brought much joy through her sense of humor and engaging personality.

Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Cisco (Dawn), of Lancaster, Ohio; daughters, Robin Phillips (Sam), of Oak Hill and Holly Doll (Art), of Stockdale; grandchildren, Alexandria Stevens (Brandon), Kylie Cisco, Riley Kuhn, Cole Cisco, Bailey Rowe, Bryn Cisco, Chloe Lianez (Corey), Zoe Doll, Kevin Phillips (Ashley), Casey Phillips (Darian); and great-grandchildren, Mellie and Daisey Phillips; sisters, Janet Steinhauer, of Texas and Joyce Conley (Paul), of Dayton. Also surviving are her cousin, Rosemary Ross (Charlie), of Oak Hill; good friend, Jack Hughes, of Oak Hill; her beloved dog, Missy and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ponney Cisco; stepfather, Cleve Williams; niece, Susan Steinhauer; and her beloved dogs, Izzy and Angel.

Friends may call at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Saturday one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Crabtree and Rev. Herman Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Union Cemetery in Beaver, Ohio.
