Margaret “Marg” Sue (Wyant) Bowling

Margaret “Marg” Sue (Wyant) Bowling, 68, of Bethel Ridge Rd., Beaver, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord peacefully in her home, with family by her side, on Monday, May 14, 2018. She was born April 30, 1950 to the late Henry and Freda (Porter) Wyant of Jackson, Ohio.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Edward Lewis Bowling; brothers: Richard “Dick” Wyant, Lou “Jay” Wyant, David “Dave” Wyant, and James “Shake” Wyant, all of Jackson; and sisters: Opal “Sis” Wyant Fessler and Irene “Renie” Wyant Potts, also of Jackson.

Surviving are sons, Daniel (Gidget) Bowling, Lewis (Misty) Bowling, both of Jackson and daughter, Rhonda (Jeff Bixler) Wolfe of Coalton; brothers, Raymond (Lynn) Wyant of Jackson, Donald (Joanie) Wyant of Colton; sisters: Linda “Kate” (John) Cart, Marqurite Malone and Elizabeth “Libby” (Chuck) Roe, both of Jackson; close friends, David and Melissa Miller of Beaver and Cindy Hickman of Jackson; seven grandchildren: Christopher “Koty” Bowling, Shawnee (Joey Durham) Walters and Sydney (Nico Boggs) Bowling, all of Jackson, Seth Wolfe and Caleb Wolfe of Coalton, Madison (Daniel) Kleinke of Portsmouth and Brayden Bowling of Jackson; six great-grandchildren: Brydn, Kolsyn, Jimasyn, Rowan, Linkyn and Coraline; special niece, Penny Potts of Jackson; as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Margaret was a longtime member of the Bethel Ridge Baptist Church in Beaver and a retiree of the Jackson Goodyear Plant where she worked for 25 years. Margaret was also a foster parent to many children after her retirement, up until her failing health. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed volunteering at her church food pantry. “Marg” also loved a good yard sale and flea market.

A funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rick Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the Bethel Ridge Baptist Church from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
