Marcella (French) Lore

Marcella (French) Lore, age 59, of West Portsmouth, originally from Oak Hill went to be her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at her home. She was born in Portsmouth on April 28, 1956 to the late Clayton and Edna (Radabaugh) French.

She is survived by her four children, Tina Rosenburg (Scot), of South Webster, Roy Lore Jr., of Jackson, Jason Lore (Mindy), of West Portsmouth and Chad Aaron Lore, of Portsmouth; six grandchildren, Kayla, Brandon, Emily, Hayden, Aaralyn and Kayleigh; three great grandchildren, Jonathan, Landon and a newborn grandson, Connor. She is also survived by her six sisters, Yvonne, Wyoma, Lucilla, Edna, Juanita and Cheryl; three brothers, Gilbert, Orville and Steve. She attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union on Cedar St. in Portsmouth. The love of Marcella’s life was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Marcella often mentioned how thankful she was to have such a wonderful family. She enjoyed sewing and quilting in her spare time. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Howard.

Arrangements are pending under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.
