Loren H. Young, age 77, of Jackson, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Four Winds Nursing Facility in Jackson, Ohio. He was born February 8, 1937 in Jackson to the late Walter and Mary (Hayth) Young.
He is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Pat (Morgan) Young; a son, Jeff (Karen) Young; daughter, Lorna (Mike) Young McQuay; son, John (Malea) Young; grandchildren, Morgan Music, Michaela Music, Paige Young, and Chloe Young.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and a member of Jackson Masonic Trial Lodge. He was also a member of Pipefitters Unions #577 & #189 and a National Member of Eastern Star Chase Chapter #162.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio with Rev. Harley Roston and Rev. Wendell Vermillion officiating.
