Linda Sue Goheen

Linda Sue Goheen, age 75, of Wellston, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Four Winds Nursing Home in Jackson.  She was born May 12, 1944 in Jackson to the late Tom and Mary Scurlock.

Linda was a loving housewife, she enjoyed every minute of it.  She liked sewing, cooking, watching TV, spending time with family, especially her husband.  She tried to please everyone that she knew.  She was a friend to everyone she met, and she was loved by all.  She co-owned J&L Junkyard and was also a notary public.  She always made everyone laugh and it was truly a joy being around her.  Linda will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar James “Jim” Goheen; two sisters; one brother, Chuck Scurlock of Washington; cousins, Shirley and Annie Scurlock; aunt, Dorothy Scurlock; sister-in-law, Joanne Hughes; niece, Penny (Richard) Wilson; nephews: Jeff (Mary) Wilson, Sam Wilson, and Chris Wilson.  Also surviving are her great-nieces and nephews: Holly (LJ), Haylee (Jerry) Russell, Jeremy (Rebecca) Hughes, Kayci Wilson, Candace Hughes, Brandon Wilson, and Kelsey Wilson; great-great nieces and nephews, Zoey Russell, Jerry Russell Jr., Aria Wilson, and Letty Wilson all of Wellston, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Madgie Leota Goheen.

Friends may call Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson.  Funeral services will immediately follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating.  Burial will follow in Byer Cemetery in Ray, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
